Now that the holiday season is over it’s probably time to get back on the treadmill just so that I can button my pants back up from all the eating (and unbuttoning) I have been doing these past few weeks!

Speaking of overeating there’s one experience in particular that comes to mind and that’s my night of serious indulgence at Collin’s Kitchen’s Christmas Buffet. Boy did I have a major case of food babies that night.

My friends and I had arrived for our booking at 7:00pm and didn’t leave until 10:30pm! I made it clear the moment we sat down that we weren’t leaving until I tried every single dish. And I think I just about did.

From all you can eat sashimi, sushi, pizza, antipasto, dumplings, salads and roasts to a chocolate fountain and huge array of mouthwatering dessert, this has to be the best buffet I have been to so far. And at $88 a head ($66 with my entertainment card) I can assure you the hefty price tag was well worth the money.

Generally I find buffets to follow a certain standard- quantity over quality. Collin’s kitchen however definitely defied this logic as the food was both plentiful and delicious.

The quality of the dishes served are that of a fine dining restaurant except that you don’t leave hungry. It’s all you can eat and it’s fine food. In other words, foodie heaven.

Everything looked so damn good I didn’t even know where to begin. It was almost like being in a room full of extremely attractive people and not knowing where to look!

I must have gone back and forth about 4 or 5 times before moving onto the dessert and even then I had to keep filling my plate up because there was just that much to sample!

I really couldn’t fault a thing, everything was amazing. Even the customer service believe it or not. Our waiter Rieko was so accommodating and friendly and more than happy to take our photos for us.

Unfortunately this buffet is only held on special occasions but I will definitely return for their High Tea and Afternoon brunch.

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas & New Years and a special thank you to all my eating buddies for coming with me on all my food adventures. Your support means so much 🙂
